2014 England National Team Official World Cup Suit & Tie

England Flag

While I know it’s not necessary for national teams to have suits for the World Cup, it is classy and in good form. What’s not in good form? Despite having these official 3-piece suits at their disposal England chose not to wear them when arriving in Brazil. Unspectacular entry and an unspectacular exit for the team from England. I feel bad for the team and the fans as England failed to move on past the group stage for the first time in 56 years. While their exit is disappointing, they could have at least gone into the World Cup in style. At least you can purchase the suit designed for the England squad. Keep reading to see images and find out where to get your hands on one of the 3-piece suits.

Above is the official tie you saw their coaching staff sporting on the sidelines. Quite handsome, it stands out against the grey of the suit. This is a great looking tie that I would purchase if I didn’t already own a similar piece from Brooks Brothers.

The jacket, while missing the team crest on the left chest is a quite usual gray color. The only team I saw wearing a suit that was in any way non-standard was the Japan team, which sported a blue windowpane suit. The slant pockets offer a nice detail and the official England suit is offered at a good price point at £264. Pictures of the waistcoat and trousers below.
