Sometimes All You Need is a Budweiser

budweiser t-shirt on snorkelling tour

While I’d often rather be wearing a sport coat and tie, sometimes it just doesn’t make sense. Sometimes you feel like foregoing even the short-sleeve button-down shirt and throwing on a t-shirt.

Over the past months in Vietnam I’ve come to particularly enjoy wearing a Budweiser t-shirt I purchased shortly before moving abroad. This post is in honor of that t-shirt. For good measure I’ve thrown in a couple photos of myself in other casual attire.

Here I am with my amazing wife eating sea urchins on a fishing boat off Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. Sea urchins are seriously delicious!

Me with my good friend Joy. There is some great snorkelling to be had along the coast behind us.

In the crater of Mount Haleakala in Maui. If you ever go to Maui wake up early to see the sunrise over the crater.

Even on Maui, the mountains can be quite cold in the morning. In the distance you can see the “head” of Maui. My wife and I took our rental car, a Ford Focus, up on off-road vehicle trail to get to this spot. We thought we would get stuck more than once. It’s now one of my favorite memories.

The sweatshirt is from Honolua Surf Company. It’s always nice to find a unique clothing company that you don’t see everywhere else in the world. On one trip to Maui I purchased matching Hawaiian shirts from Honolua Surf Co. for my father and I. They’ve held up well and the shirt’s in Vietnam with me right now.

Stay true to yourself. Be kind to others. Define your own style.
