A Collection of Cotton Ties from Ralph Lauren

When I was researching for a post on cotton ties for spring I found Ralph Lauren had so many great cotton ties that I couldn’t settle on which to include in the post. So here they all are together.

In high school I was a huge fan of Polo Ralph Lauren; I had no clue their other lines existed. In my twenties I started to view the brand as nothing except over-priced polos. That has now begun to shift.

My time here in Asia has shown me how truly powerful the Ralph Lauren name really is. In Bali, you can’t walk a single block without seeing a POLO Ralph Lauren store. You will usually see two or three per block. I remarked to my wife that POLO stores must be occupying half of the real estate in Bali. Here in Vietnam, you can’t go into any market without seeing two dozen stalls selling fake POLO shirts.
