Kent Wang is one of my favorite menswear designers. Why? He has a cool story. And even cooler clothes. He steals patterns from ancient sources like carpets in paintings of Chinese emperors and old sea maps, turning them into pocket squares that are truly works of art. Kent Wang has also re-invented the polo shirt to much fanfare.
Kent started out by selling pocket squares on StyleForum and has since added a large variety of well-made products. His reputation is sterling.
Everything from classic white linen, to cats, and ancient patterns, Kent’s pocket square collection has it all. They sell fast and are often on backorder. I’ve been waiting for a couple of these to get in stock for some time. Acquire Kent Wang pocket squares

These are not your typical polo shirt with a flimsy ribbed collar. The collars on Kent Wang’s polos are spread collars constructed in the same manner as a collar on a dress shirt. This eliminates the untidy look that most polo collars have. Acquire Kent Wang polos
The tie collection covers a wide range from round flowers, stripes, grenadines, linen, and checks. The grenadines are similar in price to Sam Hober grenadines. The price of a six-fold tie is $85; an amazing value really. Acquire kent Wang ties
Once I get back to the U.S. I will be trying out some of Kent Wang’s ties and other products. When I last ordered a tie and had it shipped to my residence in Vietnam there was a 50% import tax which I am keen on not suffering again. For now, you can read a detailed review on Kent Wang over at Gentleman’s Gazette.
