No matter what country you call home, it always feels good to purchase items made in your country. And since the U.S.A. is my home, here are a few brands that stand out as quality American-made dress shirt manufacturers.

Todd Shelton

Founded in 2002,  all of Todd Shelton’s clothing is made in their New Jersey factory. Each of Tod Shelton’s American-made dress shirts are available exclusively through their online store. Pictured above is their poplin tan microstripe dress shirt. Microstripes are one of my favorite patterns due to the subtle interest they add to any outfit.

Mercer & Sons

If you like your OCBDs then Mercer & Sons is the brand for you. They are famous for OCBDs, however all of their shirts are made in the USA and top quality.  No expensive advertising or branding here, just high quality dress shirts.

Hamilton Shirts

A Houston staple since 1883, Hamilton Shirts has been around long enough to know how to make a high-quality shirt. They also offer custom made-to-measure shirts.

Brooks Brothers

It’s nice to see that an American brand as iconic as Brooks Brothers has decided to keep the manufacturing of some of their goods at home. Their Made in America Collection is quite impressive in scope.

Gitman
